Supervise 6 DD sites across counties including West Park which requires 24/7 coverage. Hire and train employees. Oversee program implementation and ensure statewide and Medicaid guidelines are followed. Assist site managers with hiring, progressive discipline, and training of staff. Responsible for expense and operational budgets. Coordinates quality improvement activities for areas of responsibility. Knowledgeable of regulatory, infection control and human resource standards. Ability to review and develop policies and procedures. Maintains communication with support coordinators, regional, state staff regarding PA’s, ISP’s and waiver issues. Ensure each program has an appropriate staff to consumer ratio and ensure overall BHS policies/procedures are followed. Ensure all sites comply with documentation requirements in a timely manner. Provides 24/7 nursing coverage for West Park Residential Program. Provide medication oversight and reconciliation for West Park residents. Provide Nurse Manager backup coverage and mentoring for the BHCC. (24/7)
Bachelor’s degree in Social Services/Healthcare/Related field plus 3 years DD experience
3-5 years management experience
RN or Master’s degree in Social Services/Healthcare/Related field with 3 years DD experience
A criminal background check and drug testing will be required upon appointment. If appointed, applicant will be subjected to a Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record Databases.
