Program Director (New Hope TSS, Weymouth)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with on call responsibilities
Bay Cove Human Services, Inc., a leading Massachusetts human services organization, seeks a Program Director to join us in our mission to provide high-quality services to adults who face the life-long challenges of mental illness, aging and drug and alcohol dependency.
The Program Director will oversee all operational aspects of the program including recruitment/community relations, patient admissions, medical/clinical services, case management, utilization review, programming, fiscal/budget management, operations and facilities management.

Leading operations for the program which provides short term structured psyco-educational programming and supportive services to individuals who have completed detoxification and continuing for further treatment in a residential recovery home setting.
Provide direct supervision for program managers and coordinators for billing, intake and operations.
Assure that the program adheres to all federal and state regulatory mandates, accreditation standards, contractual agreements and Bay Cove Human Services policies and procedures.
Work with the Vice President of Addiction Services and Bay Cove Finance Department to formulate the program's annual budget.
Collaborate with the Bay Cove Finance Department to assure sound fiscal management through ongoing monitoring of service utilization and program spending.
Work closely with the program's multidisciplinary team, including Medical Director, Psychiatry Consultant, nursing, case management and recovery support.
Collaborate with IT Department to maintain the program's electronic health records management system, assuring for accurate documentation of patient records, timely billing, storage and maintenance of patient records in accordance with regulatory codes.
Lead the program management team to plan, outline, organize, monitor and report on goals, objectives and outcomes for the program.
Attract new/supplemental funding to support program activities and prepare reports and proposals as required.
Serve as the New Hope representative in contacts with funding sources; federal, state, and local organizations; trade organizations; and licensing and regulatory boards.
Education - Master's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Public Health, or Public Administration.
Experience - Five years' experience in program or department management, including direct staff supervision, budget preparation and management, with at least two years in the substance use disorder treatment field.
Skills - Knowledge of local, state, and federal funding sources for substance use disorder treatment programs.
A thorough understanding of the disease of addictions and dual diagnosis, and a familiarity with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder (DSM) and American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria.
Strong understanding of the substance use disorders treatment system and related continuum of prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery support networks.
Demonstrated clinical, professional writing, supervisory, interpersonal, communication, computer, public speaking/presentation and organizational skills.
