MENTOR Oregon is seeking a Brokerage Director to manage the day to day operations of our Brokerage services. In our Support Services Brokerage, we match adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities living in the community with Personal Agents who identify and coordinate the supports each person needs to thrive.
The purpose of this position isto direct the operations of the Metro-area Mentor Oregon Brokerage, ensuringthe provision of quality support services to its customers. This will be accomplished by direct oversightof brokerage personnel, and the creation of policy and infrastructure tosupport staff. The director will also work within the broader community toestablish beneficial partnerships, communicate regularly with other programs topromote smooth working relationships, and problem-solve with the brokeragecommunity to influence and guide growth and development.
The Brokerage Director:
Manages the day to day operations of Brokerage services serving Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties.
Assures a stable customer census (currently 720) and maximizes opportunities for program growth and development.
Rolls out changes in Support Services policy and procedure as necessitated by rule or policy change via State or federal direction.
Keeps program current with changing statewide expectations, including those pertaining to provider qualification, allowable expenditures, required customer contacts, reporting, necessary forms and documentation, etc.
Is responsible for the financial performance of the program; oversees the purchase of program supplies, and reviews and ensures that contract billing is completed on-time with required documentation.
Manages, hires, and trains staff.
Provides leadership, including direct supervision of Lead Personal Agents, Resource Coordinator, Provider Coordinator, and Administrative staff; implements Network employee practices; implements safety and workers' compensation programs.
Oversees and assists with employee corrective actions as necessary.
Oversees and manages interactions with eXPRS, the state's system for provider payments.
Remediates complaints from individuals receiving services, families, and guardians as necessary, resolving conflict and removing impediments to good service.
Manages program quality enhancement and develops program-specific plans as well as maintains Network standards; reviews incident reports and oversees follow-up and protective actions, as necessary.
Maintains licensing and compliance for program; assures timely and accurate program documentation; leads program through annual field reviews and licensing audits conducted by State personnel; reviews correction orders; and implements compliance plans.
Is an active member of the Oregon Support Services Association, attending monthly meetings and other statewide leadership collaboration opportunities.
Maintains and fosters relations with Oregon Office of Developmental Disabilities Services staff, CDDP, and other key stakeholders; advocates on behalf of individuals receiving services and Network as appropriate.
Participates in statewide workgroups, rules advisory committees, and policy stakeholder groups covering topics of direct bearing on Support Services and collaborates locally with Brokerages covering overlapping service areas.
Communicates and maintains relationships with local direct service provider agencies.
Performs other related duties and activities as required.

·A minimum of abachelor's degree and two years of experience, including supervision, in thefield of intellectual or developmental disabilities, social services, mentalhealth, or a related field
·Six years ofexperience, including supervision, in the field of intellectual ordevelopmental disabilities, social services, or mental health.
